Quiet Luxury Is a Made Up Buzz Word.

If you just finished binge watching your favorite nepo-baby series or if you have any inkling of fashion and are scrolling through your Tik- Tok feed, you most  definitely  saw the “new” buzz word of “Quiet Luxury" that is making headlines. People think this is a new wave of fashion that is taking the industry by storm, but this is just how luxury was before luxury brands tried to be street wear brands and plastered a cheeky graphic on their garments .

This buzzword is just a justification for people to spend an exuberant amount of money  on a piece of clothing to try to live up to acting like a 1%er. That is what the system and people want you to think it takes to be fashionable. Yves and Dior would be rolling in their graves if they saw the state of luxury fashion.

Luxury is a feeling, it's a conviction, and most importantly it's an experience that is tailored to you. Simply buying a $400 t-shirt is not luxury, it's just expensive. Being “quiet” about it  doesn't really make it cool if your only intention is to post it and tag the brand on Instagram.

If you want to get down to the nitty gritty, luxury was always quite pre 80s logo blasting. You only knew about a brand or designer if you were educated or well traveled.

The designers defined luxury by using their craft and making people feel good in their clothes, not the price tag. Those same designers built their identity by using shapes, patterns, and fabrics as their label. There are very few designers that have a distinctive look in today's fashion world.

If you want to feel true luxury and really flex quietly,  buy tailored goods that are made to order and I will guarantee you that they  will be the best clothing you will ever buy. That's the best quiet luxury brand !!

Also, it makes your buns and curves look good =)
