His name is Luciano DiGiorgio aka “The Luch” was born in Manhattan in the heart of the West Village. He grew up in a small town in New Jersey minutes away from the unofficial capital of the world, NYC. His parents exposed him to a diverse environment developing his fine palate for the arts and fashion.

Luciano fashion journey started earlier on. He had his own skate brand and sponsored skaters by the age of 13. His love for sneakers and designs grew in high school. He would enroll himself into sewing and art classes, attend industry seminars, and frequent art galleries. This would lead him to pursue his higher education at LIM College(formerly known as Laboratory Institute of Merchandising) graduating with high honors with a BBA in Fashion Merchandising. While, maintaining a full academic course load and employment, he mentored and tutored students on campus to accumulate and develop them as productive members of the fashion industry. He ensured they excelled and exceeded in their academic development. He won prestigious awards in fashion during his education such as the Fashion Scholarship Fund & Educators for Socially Responsible Apparel Practices - ESRAP. 

Luciano refined his fashion experience by holding corporate and retail positions at Kenneth Cole Production, Liberty Fairs, Foot Locker Corporate Offices, Billionaire Boys Club, Flight Club, Nordstrom, Austen AG, Lands’ End, & The Riviere Agency. He also continues to devote time & resources to mentor students that come after him.   

In addition to his corporate accolades, he is also a published author and frequent contributor to regional national and international publication and capsule projects through his own creative studio Apple Pie Designs NYC,(applepienyc.com). Which focuses on creating quality and accessible objects/art pieces in different mediums.

Luciano lends his time to mentoring and tutoring young professionals to reach their full potential. A few organizations he gives back to are Fashion Scholarship Fund, American Legion Jersey Boys State, & Free Arts NYC. Luciano also serves on panels at his alma mater to give insight on the fashion industry.  

In his free time he continues to seek out appropriate activities to expand his knowledge in art, design, food, and the exploration of different cultures.
